How Can a Red Bump On The Leg Be Treated?

I have had a spot on my leg for a while. It started out as a hardened white patch and would peel some times. I saw a Dermatolagist, and he called it something, but I don t remember the name. Now below it I have a new spot that is red and was flat, but raised up and looks like a blister now has fluid in it . It doesn t hurt, burn or anything, it s just odd and I m wondering what it could be. The new spot is about 3/8 .

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to folliculitis. I would recommend you to wash the area with antibacterial soap. I also recommend applying and antibiotic cream for local treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
